The Inn opened in 1704. It has a rich history of famous visitors and a long history of hauntings. There are numerous spirits that have been seen and heard in the inn over the years including Hessian soldiers, two women, a man and a little boy but many others have been observed as well.
SJGR was here to conduct a semi-formal investigation and to hold
a seminar for the public. While some members investigated unoccupied
areas of the Inn, other members gave lectures, showed video presentations
and allows the public to examine and use our equipment in a haunted setting.
